It's been 5 years since the apocalypse. A deadly gas created by the mix of weapons used in a world war turned the air toxic to those with a Y chromosome. Sarina comes from one of the 12 elite families to represent a Zodiac in the dystopian world of Simul, and has come to the age where she will need to prove herself in the Final Tests in order to remain in the upper class that she has grown to know. Elara is apart of a group known as Etorus. They work directly under the Queen of their solar system, Myōkh, where certain people are gifted with talents relating to the planet they were born on. In the capitol, Solaris, Etorus is informed that there are strange things happening on the farthest outer planet, and that they need to go investigate. The only issue is that enroute to the planet of Sharaia their ship is stopped by space pirates with a worst kind of reputation. To Elara's shock, the Captain is a girl she may or may not have hooked up with years ago, back before any of them were anything. And now that same girl is threatening her life with a glowing blade.
