After the cruel events of No Such Luck, Lincoln Loud's world falls apart. Branded as "bad luck" and cast out of his own home, he is left to sleep outside like an outcast. The boy who once had a loving family and supportive friends is now met with nothing but scorn, ridicule, and neglect. His sisters ignore his suffering, his parents turn a blind eye, and even those he once trusted as friends have abandoned him. With every passing night, Lincoln grows weaker-alone, hungry, and broken by the betrayal of those who should have cared for him most.
But fate takes an unexpected turn. Watching from the shadows is a man with a twisted philosophy-John Kramer, better known as Jigsaw. Seeing Lincoln's suffering, Jigsaw recognizes a story he knows all too well: the destruction of innocence at the hands of selfishness, ignorance, and cruelty. To him, Lincoln is not just a victim-he is a symbol of wasted potential, crushed by those who failed to value him.
With the help of his apprentices, Jigsaw enacts a plan. One by one, Lincoln's abusers-his family, his so-called friends, anyone who cast him aside-are taken in the dead of night. They awaken in a cold, unfamiliar place, chained and surrounded by the sounds of machinery. Before them stand twisted contraptions-deadly traps designed to test not just their will to survive, but their capacity for remorse.
