What do you know about Vincent Russell? Well...most people don't know anything, considering he is an absolute closed book, which is ironic since his face is always shoved into an open one. If you happen to catch the attention of the grouch, there is no promise that he won't cuss you out or give a crap about you at first glance. The unbothered, quiet boy sure has a lot brewing on the inside from his uprising, but Vincent isn't the intimidating asshole everyone makes him out to be. ...But he does have a weakness: that annoying kid that pried his way into his life called Hayden Williams. So, who exactly is Hayden Williams? He's the definition of a train wreck. Most people are surprised that the social butterfly can even keep his head attached to his body. With the chaotic energy he brings to every room, any night can end in spin the bottle, inappropriate jokes, and possible jail time...kidding (not really). However, there is depth to every party animal. The remaining question is how on earth are these two best friends? Even better, how do these two become more than friends when their personalities conflict in every way possible? Follow them through the years of their lives in 'Lilies for a Lifetime.' **This is a spin-off of 'Flowers for Football.' It can be read as a stand-alone but many spoilers and scenes from the book will be mentioned**

Kieran Tate is the type of person who just floats through life. He had a somewhat average childhood, has somewhat average grades, and isn't really anything special. That's the way he likes it to be; do all of the needed tricks without falling off the skateboard. Do what you need to do to be noticed, but never do enough to be considered an attention seeker. There's only one problem that interferes with Kieran's life that causes everything to not be so simple. Cassius Connor won't leave him alone. Kieran has tried time and time again to ignore his snide comments and nonsensical arguments, but Kieran can only take so much before his fuse blows. Not a day goes by when Kieran and Cassius aren't fighting with each other. The happy-go-lucky skateboard kid and the gloomy, hot-headed teen have nothing in common, so how do they butt heads so often? Soon enough, their lives become intertwined with no way to reverse it. From jealous best friends, to new family challenges, to dealing with an enemy, Kieran has it all. Only it's a lot more complicated than it seems. Cassius is a much more interesting person than what's on the surface. Cassius tries to bury his past, but the closer Kieran gets to him, the more of his dark and forgotten life is uncovered. Not only that, but Kieran is about to find the key to ruining Cassius's life. Will he use it to his advantage or will he use it to unwind Cassius's complexity? With a lot of rage, a lot of laughs, and a whole lot of healing, will Kieran and Cassius finally see eye to eye... or will their relationship blossom into something more? It's your usual enemies-to-lovers tale, but with a twist.

Asher King's life has revolved around putting up an involuntary mask to hide his true self. With successful parents boasting about his 'pretend' success, Asher feels as though the life he is living was never his to begin with, and a home of happiness is far out of reach. While the luxurious life is envied by most, Asher is only followed by social anxiety and suffocation in a life he doesn't want. The only place where he feels like he can genuinely escape is the little flower shop down the street, where he doesn't expect to find the school's star football player. Leo Gaines is Greenville's golden boy who is destined for success in the NFL. One would think that Leo would do anything to keep a squeaky clean reputation, but Leo would do anything to live a life for himself. Everyone seems to love the confidence he oozes but the subtle respect he always values. However, one thing doesn't fit the agenda: he is still coming to terms with his bisexuality. After multiple encounters with the mysterious boy from the flower shop he works at, Leo soon realizes that he can't help falling for the flower boy. Can Leo find the relationship of his dreams while trying to find a future in a world that exudes masculinity? Will Asher finally find authenticity that will break him free from the marionette puppet he is staged to play? Find out in "Flowers for Football."
