Y/n is transgender. Being born in the wrong body sucks, but it has it's perks when you try and enter Gerudo town. Link has gone halfway across the dessert for female clothing just to find that they had let a guy in with no special wear at all. The pair end up "bumping" into each other, and from there, it's history. Lemmie just say, You are you, and Legend of Zelda and breath of the wild aren't mine. The pictures won't be either unless I say so :)

It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. (A/N: If anyone is confused about the writing style in the first few chapters, I apologize. I wrote this fanfic when I was still very new to writing. I was still using this odd script style before transitioning to a more normal novel writing style. I hope this clears up any confusion.) (Other A/N: None of the artwork here is mine. Now, a ghost among the living, he had to leave the kingdom he spent so long revitalizing and travel with eight incarnations of the Hero's spirit. Luckily, he wouldn't be going alone. Book 2 of A Hero's Spirit. This one is Linked Universe.

Urbosa was many things, but even she could not halt the sands of fate. When a dying Hylian mother entrusts her infant son to her, begging on her last breath to raise him as her own, her Gerudo pride could not possibly deny her final request. Link, despite being a male, would be raised Gerudo. And Urbosa would make sure her son would be the strongest warrior of them all. (We hit Linked Universe eventually, but the first bit is definitely just BotW.)

Calamity Ganon was stronger than anyone had anticipated. Link and Zelda gave their lives to seal him away in the ruins of Hyrule Castle. But an unexpected complication with Mipha's Grace has given Link a corporeal ghost form. Now stuck amongst the living, with one foot in the realm of the dead, he must struggle to figure out what Hylia needs him to do. Luckily, the Champions of Old are there to help him. Nobody could've possibly foreseen eight incarnations of the Hero's Spirit-very ALIVE incarnations-appearing from the mists of the Lost Woods asking for Link.
