Kala, a normal 21-year-old living in the early 20th century London, embarks on a journey to a magical land called Asmen after Whitlock, a man considered to be crazy by many, takes her there. They are assisted by twins in a battle to retrieve the Crown of Asmen from the unworthy and evil Lycidas, youngest heir to the crown and most bloodthirsty. With all of Asmen under his curse, they must destroy the crown and save the land.
