Hia Lian and Kuea have been engaged since they were kids due to a promise Hia Lian made to Kuea's grandfather. When Kuea comes back from the UK, he starts his double life as Kirin, a rebel drummer and motorcycle lover at night, and the polite and perfect Nu-Kuea during the day. Both fall in love as Kuea tries to make Hia Lian see only the best in him and Hia Lian tries to see beyond the façade to the real man.
