Killing an alpha, discovering she had a deadly and mysterious power, being thrown in a frozen lake, and meeting her supposed mate in that order was not on her to-do list but somehow ended up on her accomplishments for the week. And to think she thought herself unproductive... *********************************************** She shot up like a bullet. She faced him just so she could know where exactly to stay away from. "Idris, please don't. I'll kill you. I don't want to kill you." There he was, every single inch of fury and strength. And she took him down like he was nothing the day before. This terrified the hell out of her. He threw his hands up. "I'm not leaving you alone, so don't even think about running." She felt like a caged animal, stuck between a rock and a hard place. "You should leave. Like you said before, you need to get back to your work. I was wrong, I should stay here." He made this sound that resembled a chuckle, but it was humorless and had plenty of warning in it. "You are coming with me. End of discussion." She narrowed her eyes at him. "Don't talk to me like I'm a child. I'm trying to protect you. You are just being stubborn. I will not be taken against my will." "I would prefer not to kidnap you," he responded, "but I am not above it." Avathara wanted to scream. "Why aren't you listening to me? Do you have a death wish?!" "I won't be without you," he declared, "I can't." Her eyes widened in disbelief. "What?" His expression was so severe, so deceivingly stern, but his words made her heart race. "I can't get you out of my head, Avathara. Do you understand?" She did. "I won't leave without you. So, make it easier on the both of us." @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ & SEQUEL TO A THOUSAND INSTINCTS & °°MATURE AND EXPLICIT CONTENT OF ALL KINDS, AND I MEAN ALL KINDS°°
