And he is a greedy villain with his own agenda. Lute will accumulate pain like a ticking time bomb, and one day it will explode.

Jinu sacrifices himself for Rumi, giving his soul to her, in order to defeat Gwi-ma. The Huntr/x defeated the demon overlord with the help of their fans' united soul and with the help Jinu had provided with his noble sacrifice. When everyone thought he was gone, Jinu's soul appeared to be imbedded in Rumi's sword, being her literal weapon.
