Yamada is jealous of Aizawa's father-son relationship with Hitoshi, and goes to find out a bit more about the adopting process. When he meets a baby boy born with an empathy quirk and quickly takes him as his own. He makes a promise to protect Yamada Izuku from the negatives of the world. Swan Dive Summary The Slime Villain Incident, and the events leading up to it happen one year earlier. Izuku, broken and lost in the face of All Might's words, decides to take Kacchan's advice. But a familiar Underground Hero won't let a young life end so quickly. How will a simple right-place-right time scenario change things? OR: Aizawa Shouta saves the life of Midoriya Izuku and finds himself with a new apprentice and surrounded by a quickly growing family circle. What has he gotten himself into? Midoriya Izuku has always had a sharp mind. He aims to transfer to the U.A. Heroics course from the Support Course. He knows he's smart enough to get in, and he's always been gifted with making things. He just never thought his items would be of use to him before U.A. Tsukauchi Naomasa never expected a phone call from a twelve-year-old child who'd been kidnapped by villains. Who was still in the hands of villains. But he'd be damned if he let this kid die. A fic about Izuku being kidnapped by the LoV, but staying on the phone with Tsukauchi, Eraserhead, and Present Mic the whole time.

I was watching episode 8 (where Izuku admits to Bakugo that his Quirk isn't really his), and I thought to myself, "What if Aizawa overheard that conversation?" So here we are. Just a little oneshot on his thoughts and reaction, but if you want more, I might consider it. ^^

Book 2 of The volume of the Heart. Izu makes it to Yuuei with his adopted brother by marriage, Shiyu. With friend's to make, dreams to chase and flaming piles of hero trash to piss off, Izu is ready for whatever the new school year will bring. Though, things keep making it hard for the Empath, especially when a secret truth about his biological family comes up, and leaves him scratching for answers.
