Jamie, a gorilla, was adopted by Rosita and Norman, her parent's friends, after they died in a car accident. She and Rosita audition and they make it in. But as rehearsals go on, Jamie and another gorilla, Johnny, start having feelings for each other. Will it all work out or will things go downhill?

But secretly, both her and her best friend, Branch, have stronger feelings for each other than she and Creek do. So Jamie gets help from Branch and on the journey, Branch and Jamie start falling more and more in love with each other.
