Daryl's always done alright on his own. Sure he's had his brother sometimes, but really he's fine by himself. Until the world ends and he finds himself with this group of people who may actually care about him. Among these people is Carol Peletier and her daughter. For some reason, Daryl finds himself wanting to be with them and he has no idea why.

This was her favorite part of most of her days because in that place nothing hurt. The good parts from her past collided with the good parts of her present.

This story is about Daryl and Carol, this takes place in Alexandria -for the most part- (ps. negan never came, but some stuff did happen... abraham died, and glenn is alive and so is Shiva and Eric and Carl... -because i miss them 😢-) I want to acknowledge that I do not own anything of the walking dead, it is owned by AMC and the producers. (This is also my first story so yeah... )
