T/P est une adolescente née avant son frère, mais la même année. Elle est au lycée de Karasuno, entre en même temps que Tobio Kageyama, son fameux frère. Eux deux se détestent depuis le collège, enfin, c'est ce qu'il disent. Ils n'ont jamais eu une relation saine, leurs parents ont toujours préférés Tobio, bien que T/P ne fasse tout les efforts possible. Leur autre sœur vit très loin et ne vient que très très rarement, prise par leur boulot, ils ne sont pas beaucoup en contact avec elle. Elle a quelques amis, les anciens joueurs de Kitagawa Daichi, "c'est plus que Tobio" ça la rassure. Sa famille n'a jamais fait attention à elle, quand elle rentrait en pleurs à cause de ce qu'elle subissait au collège sa mère faisait abstraction. "Qu'est-ce qui va donc m'arriver pour qu'enfin ils réagissent ?" C'est sur ça, que la vie de T/P va totalement voler en éclat.
