Before the events of MK's journey, reader moves into the city, and works at a cafe as the baker. She keeps her powers a secret with the idea that magic does not exist, and her empathy abilities are different compared to a diagnosis. He helps her unlock her true potential, and during their time together they gain feelings for one another.
