We all know what happened to Varian in the first season of "Tangled: The Series." He became the villain, was defeated by Rapunzel, and thrown into prison for a whole year. Yes, he redeemed himself and returned for the third season, but the lack of his presence was felt by fans everywhere throughout the entire second season of the show. So what would have happened if he had redeemed himself sooner and been there for the gang's life-changing journey throughout the second season? How would he have reacted to all those adventures he missed? Find out in this AU fanfic! This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!!
