This is for those who can appreciate the insanity of the world I was raised in. One should never judge the past by the standards of the present. Of course, that doesn't stop me from judging the present by the standards of the past. Age and a lifetime of hard-earned experience has earned me that privilege.

This is a piece that I've been holding onto since early 2018. It was written in remembrance of my old neighborhood in Newport, Arkansas. This neighborhood is called "Crossroads" and is a place where I experienced the highest highs and the lowest lows. It is a poem of youth, comradery, love and loss.
