Baekhyun runs a sanctuary for abandoned and lost dragons but he's about to be kicked out of the place he's renting - if he can prove to the landlord that he can pay up within two weeks then he can stay, but where is he going to get the money? In a desperate bid for cash he finds an ad for 'fake husband wanted!' that will pay more than enough to keep his business going. It will be hard juggling the dragons and being this (hot) guy's husband, but here goes nothing! Written for Exo Monsterfest 2019, of which I was fortunate enough to join as a pinch-hitter. Chanyeol has held on to a secret for years, since his trainee days with a young EXO. He holds this secret so deep, he is even afraid to admit it to himself... he is in love. But he is not in love with just anyone, he is in love with one of his fellow EXO members. He planned to keep this secret love hidden, but one day, during a concert, a member of the crew sees right through his attempts to hide it when Chanyeol plays a guitar solo and can't keep his eyes off the great love of his life as he loses himself, and his willpower to hide, in the music. As the two of them work on a musical project -an original song written and composed by Chanyeol himself that the creative directors of EXO have finally greenlit- and as he grows closer and closer to his love, he begins to wonder if this beautiful angelic creature could be harboring feelings for him as well... Authors Note: I wrote this original song "The Flame" with a friend of mine. It is not a real song. I did not write, however, and claim no rights to the song "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith. It simply fits the plot and feeling of the story.

He lives alone in the large estate in middle of a forest said to be haunted by a dark being. Chanyeol has all the time in the world to dwell alone on his curse as he wanders inside the mansion until one day, on his 21st birthday, he spots a petite HUMAN boy on his front steps, seemingly lost in the woods surrounding his prison. He is desperate to rescue the boy from the forest before he stumbles into something dangerous. The last thing he expects is to find himself hopelessly attracted to his first companion in his 8 years of solitude so much so that the boy begins to change his very definition of what freedom truly looks like. Author's Note: This story is both love story, and smut with a tiny bit of fantasy elements thrown in.
