Shadow has always hated Sonic's guts. His stupid face, stupid smile, stupid voice, stupid everything! He's always been nothing but a pain. How could he be so carefree and relaxed all the time when it feels as if all of Mobius relies on him? Shadow struggles to find peace as he has constant nightmares and thoughts of his past. He lost his only purpose, Why was he even here? Why did he have to be created if all he's ever brought is pain and suffering to those he loves? Things start to change after his friends force him to stop fighting with Sonic for the good of the team. Shadow and Sonic are as different as can be...but is that really so bad?

When Shadow gets injured from one of his and Sonic's infamous fights and is left bed bound, Sonic feels pure guilt and goes to apologise to him. Sonic just can't help but stay away from Shadow and visits become more regular, their bond gets closer and feelings become more clear between the two... ⚠️ i wrote this story when i was a new fan of the Sonic franchise, story doesn't really make sense as Shadow should be able to heal but lets just ignore that🥰
