They only saw each other once and that was when their relationship was made official. The girl started feeling like he was avoiding her because she did something wrong but that was not it, he was really in love with her, it actually pained him a lot trying to avoid her but it just had to be done. But eventually, he couldn't take it anymore, so he decided to tell her the truth.
