Senator Riyo Chuchi is beginning to lose her faith in the Republic. After being the target of several assassination attempts, she finds herself placed under the protection of Commander Fox and the Coruscant Guard. Riyo has many suspicions about the leadership of the Republic and decides to take matters into her own hands. With the help of Commander Fox, she begins to unravel the many mysteries of the Senate, and of her own mind as well. Commander Fox never took interest in politics until Riyo Chuchi entered his life. He had only ever seen the war as black and white. However, as the two of them began to work together to uncover several plots and mysteries within the Republic and the war, he finds himself lost in a pool of gray. War is not all it had seemed at first. Fox is swept away in a whirl of plots and plans, and the only thing there to anchor him is a senator whom he'd had no interest in. The more Fox is with Riyo, though, the more he realizes that there is more to life than following orders. The war is nearing its end and no one knows what waits beyond it. Senators and soldiers alike must reach for the truth and take hold in time, or else be caught in the wave of ruin threatening to sweep over the galaxy. This fanfic was inspired upon by many other fanfics such as Summoning America and Gate: War of two worlds, I highly recommend reading those books because it's so awesome!) Its military might seemed unchallenged, the world's enforcer, a Dirty Harry-like armed forces intent on keeping the wolves at bay. However, with the attacks and blemishes on the very identity of America in the likes of the September 11 attacks, the dubious Invasion of Iraq and the draining insurgency afterwards, the quagmire of Afghanistan and its eventual pull-out that mirrors the likes of Saigon Evacuation, the rise of the Red Dragon, the very ideas of Pax Americana had been tainted by its own misguided intent. What was once a revered country built upon the ideas of hope, freedom and liberty, had already began to show cracks across its supremacy in the face of unending quagmires of the 21st century. But the very ideas of which America had prided itself upon will endure the test of times, but this time, in a world alien to their own. In a strange event that would be immortalized in the annals of American history as the New Year Event, the United States of America forever disappeared from the face of the Earth, instead finding itself in a world of fantasy and wonder. In this new world, the United States of America had finally been given a chance to redeem itself by some mysterious cosmic powers. In a world darkened by warring factions and atrocities, let it be the light of the ideas of which America had built itself upon be the sole shining beacon. A more grounded take on the idea of the United States of America being summoned to an unknown, magical world. Loosely based on Nihonkoku Shoukan (Summoning Japan). Five years have passed since the Invasion of Naboo, and since Darth Vader took the timeline by storm. The Republic's stability frays by the day as systems prepare for when it might fail and fall. The Jedi and the Sith remain at "peace," as both Orders grow and adapt in these uncertain times. But there will be many enemies for the Galaxy to face, beyond the Light and Dark.

The Force often works in strange ways. That was never truer when Darth Vader, not Anakin Skywalker, found himself on Naboo during the Trade Federation occupation. How is the Republic to react to a Sith Lord that has committed no crime and is aiding Queen Amidala? And did I mention Vader wasn't the only one brought along the ride? No, it's not Luke or Leia.
