I've had the worst few months of my entire life, which led me to make the choice to move from Scotland to America. It wasn't an easy one, but I had to get away from all the bad memories. I found an apartment and a job. I wanted everything to be ready for when I arrived. I believed it would be a lonely time, but I was willing to deal with it. I didn't expect that on my first day at my new job, I would instantly connect with my new boss. The stranger I had seen in the coffee shop before I knew who he was. Jared makes me feel welcome from the second I introduce myself. There is a problem, though, no, two problems. First, he is gorgeous, and I find myself attracted to him. Secondly, he is a huge flirt, and I don't know how to deal with it. I can't get involved with another man. I make it clear to him, but I find myself spending time with him outside of the office, and it becomes harder to resist. I need a friend, and he is willing to be one, but being only friends isn't easy when chemistry and sexual tension are brewing between the two people involved. I don't want to be that woman. The one who starts something with her boss, but Jared is unlike any other man I have ever met, and he makes me feel things I haven't in a while. He seems to make me feel at ease and forget about all my worries, even for a moment. Am I in trouble, or do I have enough self-control to ensure we don't get past friends? The last thing I need in life is more drama or heartache. Cover By Star Child Designs.

Axel's been my best friend for a long time. Despite our contrasting natures, we've always been close. He's confident, cocky, and a womanizer. I tend to be quiet and awkward. Either way, it works for us. He is my best friend, and nothing will change that. We have been through too much to let our relationship fall apart or allow anyone to come between us. Over the years, people have said that a guy and a girl can't be only friends. My response to them has always been the same: yes, they can because we are friends and nothing more. Those words rang truer than ever until I got a new boyfriend, and then things shifted. Axel doesn't like him, and soon, I find his behaviour changing towards me. He's behaving more like a jealous ex or boyfriend than a best friend. He's always been protective, but this is different. I try not to overthink it, but what I didn't expect was that one drunken kiss would change everything. Is one drunken kiss enough to ruin everything? I fear things are shifting between Axel and me. I'm scared to see how it plays out. Am I going to lose my best friend, or is what everyone said about us not being able to be only friends starting to become true? Cover by Covers By Sophie

A delayed flight. A stranger at a hotel bar. A one night stand. Stranded in New York for an extra night than planned due to a delayed flight, I needed to find a way to keep myself occupied, and I soon found that something. It was easy enough when the handsome stranger introduced himself to me as Kade. It has been a while since I have had a hot one-night stand, and he reminds me how fun it can be. There are no questions, expectations or reasons to see one another again. What I don't expect is our night together to come around and bite me in the ass. When I arrive at a family dinner with my parents and two older sisters to celebrate my return home to Scotland, he is sitting right there with them. Not only is he my father's new business partner, but he is my sister's blind date set up by my parents. We pretend to be strangers because things would become complicated if we didn't. No one ever needs to know about what happened between us. My dad would freak out if he found out about us because he is overly protective of me as the youngest, and with the age gap between Kade and me, my father wouldn't approve. My relationship with my older sister is already strained; I don't need to make things worse between us. Even though he doesn't seem interested in her and he tries his best to show that it could still make all hell break lose. My sister hates losing. She always gets what she wants. I should stay away from him, but it is easier said than done with the tension and chemistry between us, and we struggle to fight against it. No matter what happens, it needs to be our secret to keep.

After an unexpected ceiling collapse sends her apartment into chaos, Madelaine Grayson ends up living with her brother - and dangerously close to his tattooed, way-too-charming roommate. He's off-limits... but resisting him might be impossible. *** When Madelaine Grayson's bathroom ceiling caves in, it's not just drywall that crumbles. It's her entire world. Forced to move in with her brother, she finds herself swept up in the chaos of his new protective attitude - especially when it comes to his tattooed roommate, Noah Laurier. Noah is the epitome of perfection: sweet, hot, and embedded into every thought Madelaine has. But he's forbidden, and the closer she gets, the harder he is to resist. Well... what her brother doesn't know can't hurt him, right? *** "Matt's sister, I presume?" He walks towards the couch and my eyes widen. He's tall. I thought I was tall but this man could tower me, and when he reaches a hand towards me, there's an intricate clock tattooed on the back of his hand and his fingers have bones tattooed over them. This man is not human. He's tall and angular and dripping with sex appeal. This man is hot. Capital H, capital O, capital T. I don't think I've ever seen a human being so attractive. All I can think about as I force myself to keep my eyes on the screen is the feel of his jaw beneath my hand, and it takes everything in me not to look back at him.
