Years before the Siege of Ba Sing Se, General Iroh discovers a young girl among the remains of a decimated Water Tribe village. The problem is that Kida's reckless side comes out once she's finally away from home and she also keeps finding herself on a certain prince's ship.

Y/N was getting sick of the South Pole. Her cocky twin brother Sokka, her insufferable little sister Katara, the endless snow, ice, water, and chores. Yes, she loved the place, and her family, but ever since father left she had basically been looking after the whole village. Wake up, train with siblings, go fishing, cook, and go to bed. Every.
