Max Verstappen a un problème, il est éperdument amoureux de Charles Leclerc. Non pas qu'il ait prévu d'y faire quoi que ce soit, ni d'en parler à qui que ce soit, c'est même tout l'inverse, il préférerait sans hésiter enfermer ses sentiments dans un coffre secret et en jeter la clé. Oui, mais voilà, si les amours secrets étaient faits pour le rester, il n'y aurait pas autant d'histoires à ce sujet. Car si Max est un amoureux transit, il est aussi beaucoup trop gentil et ça, Pascale Leclerc l'a bien compris. Alors quand Charles tombe malade et qu'elle se retrouve à devoir cumuler la gestion du salon et le rôle d'infirmière pour son fils, elle n'hésite pas longtemps avant de tendre un piège dans lequel Max ne pouvait que tomber.
