Well, Naruto wasn't known to be the number one most unpredictable ninja, now was he? Naruto, also known as Kitsune, the merciless anbu prodigy, captain of team Ro, holder of the kyuubi. The list goes on, but how would he react to being assigned a certain mission? What if Naruto Uzumaki was smarter than he let on? What if Naruto was the smartest of his generation? What if Naruto was stronger than he seemed? Kakashi Hatake. People use many words to describe him. The most common ones are brave, loyal, and late. But now... there is no one to call him these things. No one to talk to. The war has taken its toll and everyone is dead. Kakashi is the only one left. He remembers his last students words after he gave him the rest of the kyuubi's chakra and died. "Go back." What did Naruto mean by go back? Will Kakashi be all right? Or will he be forever broken by the horrors he has seen? Art on cover is not mine, but @HaiToSenpai made it for me! He wanted to die. What was there left to live for? He had failed them. His friends, his comrades, his father, his sensei and worst of all his students. Heck, he let the entire world down! In the end he was ready to follow in his fathers footsteps and just end all of it. But what if Kami decided to play with him? What if she gave him the chance to atone for all of his failures? So now Kakashi has to learn how to live again without losing the last bit of his sanity. Will he get help from the unlikeliest places or will he break under his crushing need of atonement?

Kakashi's Father lives on until Kakashi is placed on a team. He suffers abuse from both his drunken father and angry villager. Worst of all, Kakashi has a secret he must keep.... and if he doesn't....it might just ruin his entire life.

Kakashi was the last one. Naruto, dying in his arms, finds a way to send him back in time. He has to figure out a way to make sure that Madara doesn't win this time. He has to change the future, starting with saving the past. (Chapters have at least 1,000 words)

"What are you?" A fearful voice stuttered out. "I'm only human, just like you," Kakashi replied in the calm yet oppress voice while in a deep chuckle echoed in the back of my mind. After the Attack on the Hidden Leaf village by the Nine Tails, Kakashi and other Anbu members are put on high alert. With the village weakened they had to show they were still strong and ready to fight other villages. Four years pass and Kakashi returns home in search of his teacher's child Naruto so he can raise him. What will happen to both Kakashi and Naruto?
