Despite Leonardo's initial wariness, Skylar's genuine kindness and artistic spirit begin to melt his shell. As their first interaction grows, so does Skylar's affection. But their budding romance is a dangerous secret, especially given the threat posed by Shredder. He is obsessed with the turtles, and the discovery of humans entangled with them could jeopardize their safety - and possibly even lead to a devastating conflict between the Turtles and the Foot Clan. With Leonardo burdened by the responsibility of protecting his brothers and the secret of their existence, and Skylar yearning for a connection that seems forbidden, their fragile connection hangs by a thread. Can they find a way to be together, or will their love be crushed under the weight of Shredder's growing power?
