"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" Is a popular saying. That is meant to uplift you in times of misfortune and adversity. But for how long will I make lemonade? What will I do when I get sick of the taste of lemonade and want just orange juice or water? That is where I am now. The point where I have become sick of my misfortunes. Why did my son and I have to live a life like this? Why didn't we get an easier one like everyone else? Day after day I fight against the adversity, against the thousands of odds stacked against me. Moving to the innercity of Jamaica is not something that any "country" girl is prepared for. Especially this feisty introvert.
