This story is not for everyone. It's a love story, but it's mostly a toxic relationship between a tortured man and his former student that he struggles to recognize as his equal. So I would recommend not to read if you want something sweet and fluff, because it won't be that. Some scenes depicted are raw, hard and sometimes violent (not between the two main characters, but still).
