Aurora is the protagonist of this tale. The story is told completely from her point of view. She is the leader of her sector, the hunters. With her long red hair and lavender eyes, she is beautiful. There is more to her than beauty, however. With a bow in her hand, she is deadly accurate. She along with the other hunters are responsible for supplying everyone in Community, their home, with meat for their meals. Community is the name given to the settlement where everyone has lived for many years. The apocalypse was one-hundred years ago but it seems like much less time has passed inside of the 'safety zone' the Gods have put in place to protect their valued assets, their children. The days are longer and their children age slower than they would in the 'real world' outside the dome. At the beginning of this tale, no one is aware they have a divine parent.
