"The Tell-Tale Heart" is a short story by American writer Edgar Allan Poe, first published in 1843. It is relayed by an unnamed narrator who endeavors to convince the reader of his sanity while simultaneously describing a murder he committed. The victim was an old man with a filmy "vulture-eye", as the narrator calls it. The narrator emphasizes the careful calculation of the murder, and he hides the body by dismembering it, and hiding it under the floorboards. Ultimately, the narrator's feelings of guilt, or a mental disturbance, result in him hearing a thumping sound, which he interprets as the dead man's beating heart. Cover by the lovely @FayLane.

Made by (~Aqua~) #1741 on Discord. These are a collection of my headcanons and mini stories that revolve around Book 1 characters. I have decided to make a book about them because they are very long, and quite difficult to post in The Mimic Lore Chat. These stories will not be in any particular order. I have merely posted and created them out of pure entertainment. I hope you will enjoy them as well. DISCLAIMER: NONE OF THESE ARE OFFICIAL LORE. THEY ARE JUST HEADCANONS AND MINI STORIES, MADE WITH MY IMAGINATION. THE CHARACTERS DO NOT BELONG TO ME, UNLESS I SAY SO. DO NOT REPOST THESE ANYWHERE. DO NOT CLAIM THESE AS YOUR OWN. I HAVE SPENT A LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT MAKING THESE. IF YOU SEE SOMEONE REPOSTING OR COPYING THEM, MESSAGE ME IMMEDIATELY. Enjoy my headcanons! Cover drawn by me. Published 1/5/2022
