Well hello there, if you're here then you've probably read Secrets, Struggles, & Soulmates! If not, this is a sequel of that book and you might not understand some of the references, but if you don't want to read SSS, that's completely fine! I finally finished the cover! :D Simple love story, boy meets boy, boy falls in love with boy. Except for the part where they're both closeted gays with homophobic parents. Ren's lived with his super Christian mother since his dad came out as pansexual. This happened when he was 7 and his parents divorced. He's lived a pretty carefree and average life, except for the closeted gay with a super homophobic mother part. He never gets in much trouble, has average grades, never moved homes, stayed at the same school, and had a decent sized group of friends. That was until he changed schools and met a boy who would change his life forever. Doc's life has always been a bit complicated. He has three younger siblings who he would do anything for and he's usually the one to take care of all of them since his mother and father spend most of their time at work or thinking about work. They're also mildly homophobic, so Doc never told them he's gay. His parents always pressured him to get good grades so in response he always gets in trouble at school and often picks on people, all of this while maintaining As in every course. His whole world shifts when he meets the new kid at his school.
