Rebecca Cross, a wartime journalist, gets sent out to rural Peru. Here, her security unit gets taken out almost on arrival, leaving her stranded at the local US Embassy. At the Embassy, she meets Task Force 141, led by John Price. TF141 agrees to replace her security unit, in exchange for her inside knowledge about the ongoing conflict in Peru. Additionally, all flights out of the area are cancelled, which leaves both parties stuck in the midst of civil war. With nowhere to go and nowhere to turn to, Rebecca accepts her dependence on the men of TF141, even if their Lieutenant 'Ghost' seems fully on board with leaving her to die.

A botched mission gets the 141 involved with the NSA. The Agent and Ghost share a professionally distant relationship on the outside. In Ghost's mind, he's much closer to her.

Summary: Elaina was recruited by TF:141 as their permanent onsite medic. She slowly gets to know the team, except for one. Simon "Ghost" Riley. The mysterious and dangerous masked soldier who barely speaks to her. She feels he doesn't like or trust her and she has no idea why. Yet Elaina wishes he would let her get to know him just a little, after all her contract is for at least three years. After assisting Price with yearly qualifications for the team, things start shifting between Simon and Elaina. When her past threatens to intrude on her present Simon becomes her shield. I have read up a bit on Ghost and have read a few fanfics, so I'm giving it a shot. Please be gentle. Also, I should mention I have never played COD, but have heard of it. Author's Note 2: This has some things from the games, characters too. I will be including the betrayal by Sheperd and Graves, but in my story, Soap wasn't killed. A series of drabbles centred around Simon 'Ghost' Riley's encounters (welcome and unwelcome)with Bee (original character), an independent contractor/tech specialist/hacker. Roughly centred around the Modern Warfare franchise, though not following specific storylines in the series. May borrow plot ideas from canon. Not really sure where this is going -we'll see.

Stranded on a snowy mountain road and at risk of freezing to death, Ghost is rescued by an unexpected and unlikely, good Samaritan. Trapped with a stranger, in a snowstorm, with no contact with the outside world, Ghost realises he must overcome his fear of vulnerability and deep rooted stubbornness, and accept help. He never would have imagined that backing down and swallowing his pride, could open so many doors. This storyline originated from Ghost and Roach being left for dead after being betrayed. It changed and morphed into this one after the remastered Modern Warfare, brought a new life to the character of Ghost. If I have time, I may repost with the original backstory.

When Senna's brother is KIA as a part of taskforce 141 he makes Ghost promise to look after her, knowing what his death will do to her. what Ghost didn't know is that Senna is a force of her own, nothing like her brother and much more like himself, and it terrifies him. Ghost doesn't want her to end up like him, he doesn't want her to completely lose her humanity. But when he look at her, her dark sad eyes already reflect his own. *only loosely based on different events from the mw2 world. I've played the games but I'm not an expert and prefer to focus in character development rather than perfecting a world I didn't create.
