growing up in the 1980s, of course will byers had never met another queer person before. he wasn't even sure they existed, until the day veronica miller swooped him off his feet (or so everybody thought.) as he connects with a fellow queer teen, he realizes he's not alone. they explore themselves and their troubled lives together. but when will gets a "girlfriend" mike wheelers jealousy arises. what is this feeling, he wonders. what is this feeling? this takes place in 1987, when the main group is around 16. for the sake of the story, the upside down has been defeated (in season 4, lets say around that time.) el defeated vecna before the "earthquake" happened, and the upside down went down with him. obviously i am writing this before season 5. i am also well aware this is all lowercase, the contents of the story will have proper capitlization. may 3rd - ?
