The love story of a British young soldier named Edwin Brown is recounted by himself in his diary-how and when he met her, how he fell in love with her, and how he fought for her. Immerse yourself in the realm of Indian history. Step into the vintage India and experience it through the eyes of this young British man. .................................................................... There was a time when Indians were fighting for their freedom, and they finally achieved independence after 200 years. India celebrated its freedom on August 15, 1947. In the year 1945, during the time when India was about to free itself from British rule after years of struggle and fight, there was a backdrop of cruelty, slavery, protests, and atrocities. Amidst this environment of hatred, an unexpected seed of love started to grow in my heart for someone I had never imagined. While I was occupied with my training in Britain, I never anticipated that a young Indian girl in Calcutta would become the focal point of my life someday. It was you! This isn't a story solely about India's independence; it's my story-a narrative of forbidden romance, the allure of opposite forces, and the liberty of love, our love. .................................................................... *Characters* Edwin Brown - Portrayed by Tom Cruise Avni Chandekar - Portrayed by Aishwariya Rai Bachchan Edward Brown (Edwin's Father) Delwyn Brown (Edwin's Mother) Bhavani Chandekar (Avni's Father) Devi Chandekar (Avni's Mother) ..................................................... NOTE: This story is a work of fiction. All the names, characters, events, and incidents are the product of the author's imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is unintentional. The era mentioned in this book partly refers to the period when India was on the verge of gaining independence from British rule. The story is entirely a historical fiction. Thank you.

Amidst the little tables full of tea and cupcakes, the world Anika reminds us of love that romance during British imperialism of Indian Raj from 1848 to 1947. Stella agrees to marry a man thrice her age and her lover Robert. What was happening in India was physically far, far away from what was happening in Britain, and that privileged people in both countries did not cease to use their privilege because one of these countries was torturing the other. This examines Anglo-Indian romance novels during the period of the Raj. This love story is a British/Indian fantasy of colonial India and explores interracial relations as well as experimenting with the modern femininity of the New Woman.
