Leah's life is divided into before and after, though no one ever tells you when the line is being drawn. One moment she is a wife, a parent, a person with a future she understands. The next, she is learning how to hold her family together while everything familiar slips out of reach. With young children depending on her, Leah has no choice but to keep moving. To make breakfasts she doesn't taste. To answer questions she doesn't know how to explain. The world hasn't ended, it's simply asked her to survive it.

*oneshot* Valentine's Day isn't grand gestures or crowded restaurants this year. It's fairy lights strung up before sunrise. A carefully packed hamper on the sofa. A house that smells faintly of tulips and peppermint tea. Everything feels slower lately. Heavier in the best way. Like they're standing on the edge of something new, something that's about to change everything. Leah just wants to hold onto this version of them for a moment, this quiet morning, this in-between, before the world shifts again. Not big. Just us.

She's always been the young one. The one everyone watches out for without really meaning to. The one who laughs easily, shrugs things off, says she's fine, even when she isn't. Lately, though, something has changed. She's quieter. More distant. There's a weight she carries that no one quite knows how to name. The team notices. The silences linger. Questions go unasked. This is a story about what happens when something unspoken starts to seep into everyday life: about friendship, protection, and the moments people don't see.

When shy, soft-hearted Rosalie Stanway gets the call-up of a lifetime - Arsenal want her - she should be ecstatic. Instead, she's terrified. New city, new expectations, and a spotlight that feels way too bright for someone who's always preferred the background. London comes fast. The move comes faster. And when the club's housing plans fall through last minute, Rosalie is left with one real option: move in with Leah Williamson. Leah is Arsenal's captain - steady, respected, protective. She's also Rosalie's sister's best friend, which makes her completely off-limits... even if Rosalie has carried a quiet crush on her for years. The kind you swallow down at family dinners. The kind you hide behind polite smiles. The kind that never went away. Now they're sharing a kitchen, a hallway, and late nights that feel too intimate for "just roommates." Rosalie throws herself into training, desperate to prove she belongs. Leah becomes the constant she didn't know she needed: early morning lifts, extra reps after sessions, reminders to eat, gentle reassurance when Rosalie's nerves spike. But living together turns "unspoken" into impossible to ignore. It's the small things that undo them - borrowed hoodies, lingering touches, soft laughs on the couch, the way Leah says "Rosie" like it means something. Teammates start noticing. Her sister checks in more. And the closer they get, the harder it is to keep pretending there's nothing there. Rosalie knows the rule: don't cross the line. Don't risk family. Don't risk the team. Don't risk Leah. But when you've always had a thing... and you're finally under the same roof, "we shouldn't" can only last so long before it becomes we can't stop.

Leah Williamson, was in a coffee shop early in the morning getting a nice hot drink before training that morning. Leah was too busy looking at her phone when she was walking to the door with her hot tea in a to go cup in her hand, not hearing the ring of the bell above the door. Next thing she knew, she bumped into someone, her tea spilling onto them. Panic kicking in straight away. "Oh my god- im so sorry" leah spoke, her hand rubbing down this person stomach, leah feeling nothing but muscles underneath their shirt "Its fine" the persons voice was soft Leah looked up, her eyes meeting a darker shade of blue than her own. This woman was tall, around the same height as Leah maybe slightly taller, she was ripped anyone could see that. Leah looked at the badge on this womans shirt. "London fire brigade" "No its not fine I shouldve been looking" leah goes on "Its fine i can withstand some heat off of a...tea?" The woman smiled, her pearly whites showing, causing leahs heart to skip a beat
