On an adventure, four mutant turtle brothers discover they possess mystic ninja powers. Not only did they discover ninja powers, but they also saved four sisters held captive by Baron Draxum. There is another snapping turtle named Jamey who wears a red mask, a spiny softshell turtle named Cheyenne who wears a purple mask, a turtle named Jesse who wears a blue mask, and another ornate box turtle named Tasneem who wears an orange mask. A hidden magical realm lies beneath the sewers of New York City, and the eight turtles work together to uncover it. They are rising up against evil and paint the city green with each other they discover their Destiny and Rise Cowabunga!!

The book will be based on the TMNT 2014 and 2016 movies. Eight mutated reptilian warriors rise from the sewers to join forces with fearless reporter April O'Neil to save New York City from the Shredder and his evil minions. The reptilians need to free the city from his control and fight an alien named the Krang.

The turtles Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo venture to the surface for the first time they meet female turtles and they learn that the Kraang are using the mutagen as part of their plan to take over New York City. Will the boy turtles find out that the girls are the bad guys?

New challenges await the turtles. The turtles meet another teenager named Casey Jones a friend of April who develops a crush on her. In spite of their own demons, the sisters are not alone as they battle their own demons. From Japan, Shredder brings Tiger Claw with him, an assassin that becomes Shredder's second in command and it is no secret that the sisters are familiar with Tiger Claw. In an effort to bait the turtles and Splinter, Shredder takes Karai hostage and threats to mutate her, while he wishes to mutate the turtles into snakes but something else takes place instead. These challenges are only the beginning for turtles.

The older brother of Oswald, Sebastian is proud of his achievements, and when he pairs up with his brother, they are unstoppable. Additionally, Sebastian will stop at nothing to get what he wants. People can't play along with him, and he uses them to his advantage as a master manipulator. Additionally, he is short-tempered and fights with his parents on a regular basis. As a result of his dad setting a flat iron on his face, Sebastian suffered burns on the right side of his face. Throughout the years that followed, Sebastian escaped his home in search of a way to make something of himself, finding his love for blades and killing anyone who stood in his way. Since Sebastian was involved in a nighttime killing spree in Gotham City, he became known as Nightblade. Sebastian finds out something about himself from Jim and he was sent to Arkham Asylum. There, Sebastian meets new people, including a hilarious, psychotic redhead, and together they form the infamous 'MANIAX!' Although Sebastian has difficulty playing well with others, he goes along with them to see where they will take him. Get ready to wreak havoc across Gotham City with villains. It is possible that some of them will make it through the chaos.

Splinter, the rat sensei, senses something amiss in New York City. His disciples, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo have grown apart since their last adventure the final defeat of their archenemy, the Shredder. Shredder's students Jesse, Jamey, Tasneem, and Cheyenne join the brothers after seeing that they can become heroes like the brothers. After a few days of staying with the brothers while getting to know them more, each sister started to fall for one of the brothers. Jamey and Raph started dating, and Cheyenne and Donnie started dating a few days before Jamey and Raph started. Mikey and Tasneem started dating sometime after them and finally, Jesse and Leo started after them. When Leonardo comes home from his long venture, there is an immediate strain on his relationship with Raphael while mysterious Foot Clan activity and monster sightings cause additional difficulty. The teenage terrapins must somehow renew and strengthen their bond if they are to have any hope of defeating an evil industrialist's army of ancient monsters.
