Knuckles and Shadow have been together since they started dating, Sonic wanted to be Knuckles boyfriend but unfortunately he chose Shadow over Sonic. An awful mistake was made as their friendship drifted apart. Two years later; Shadow and Knuckles broke up. The red echidna didn't take it well. Knuckles was depressed for weeks until one week he had to crawl back to Sonic but his former best friend and rival was no longer in the city. During his search for Sonic, Knuckles ran into a young hedgehog female 'Who is one out of four of the now 'reformed' Scourge the hedgehog' models' that seemed strangely familiar.
