In this story Kion is blamed for a crime he didn't commit and then goes into a unknown land which he had seen in the lion guard lair.... This is a series. Kion even becomes the King of the land that he is travelling to... and leader of the guard with his lover that protects that land.. So if you are excited to know hat happens after Kion leaves the Pridelands, then go ahead and read the book...
