Did you ever wonder what happened to Ominis Gaunt after the events of Hogwarts Legacy? Why is his name missing from the Gaunt family tree? How did the once noble House of Gaunt fall into ruin, reduced to a shack in Little Hangleton? History has forgotten a great many things. Among them is the unwritten tale of Rosemary Abbott - Hero of Hogwarts - a name that never made it to Harry Potter's history books. One might wonder why. This historian may have found the answers in a little known romance novel, published over a century ago. It tells the sweet tale of two young friends, who found themselves suddenly arranged to be married by their families. Rosemary, whose family's tradition insists on marrying after graduation, finds the match unexpectedly agreeable. But Ominis...would rather condemn himself to a life of solitude than endanger the girl he's secretly loved for a year. His only solution is for her to find someone else... Is this romance novel purely fiction, or is it inspired by real events lost to time? A decision influenced by his family's connection to the dark arts. A jailbreak ensures, and, within the walls of the Room of Requirement, he finds solace with his new found friend. ~~~~~~~ This story follows the events after the "In the Shadow of the Relic" Quest in the Hogwarts Legacy video game. I do not own any of these characters 💃🏻 The name of my character is Levi, a female Ravenclaw, but I have written this fanfic in a way that mentions her name as little as possible to allow the reader to imagine their character in her place.
