Daniel Lorence, a thirteen year old boy knows everything about everyone when he's suddenly transported into his favourite book series, Wings of Fire. However, when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel finds himself on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when something starts to pull the strings on his mind and the world around him, it's clear something much more sinister is on the horizon. As such he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to make the choice.. If living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: Things may seem off within 4h story such as: A confusing timeline, unexplained plot holes, out of character reactions, etc. All I can say is that they're in there on purpose for the most part and will be explained as you read through the story. The Jade Winglet finds themselves in deep when a strange form of magic sends them to Darkstalker time. Lost and without a way to return home, they must work (reluctantly) with the dragon they swore to defeat. But their world is slowly crumbling when the consequences of their travel catches up with them. With the secret of the future and the outcome of a war resting in their talons, they must return home and find a way to change the future for the better. There is an assassin out to get Glory, and according to Moon, it ends up killing her and Deathbringer as well, so Glory goes into hiding, tricking everyone in the tribe, including Deathbringer into thinking she is dead, so the assassin will leave Glory's friends and scarce family alone. But to fulfill the trickery, she had to let the married couple Moon and Qibli, as well as Turtle, Kinkajou, and Sunny in on her plan. They are all very good liars, but the question is: Can Glory keep her identity a secret? And if she accidentally reveals, what will become of the future? Sorry to all the WinterWatcher fans out there, promise I'll get to them somehow. CW!! (cringe warning lol) This is really old and was like- my second fanfic, so it's really cringey.
