Fortuum is a prison designed to be inescapable and completely fail-proof. Only the deadliest and darkest of criminals are sent there. If you are lucky, you could die during Elimination right on the first day in Fortuum. If you are unlucky, you could slowly burn to death while laboring in the fields under the blistering sun. There is no such thing as pity, and there is no such thing as freedom. Prisoner X is a one-of-a-kind prisoner in the prison Fortuum. All the prisoners are scared of him for some reason, but Prisoner X doesn't know why. He doesn't even know who he is, and why he is here. All his memories were lost. When he looks deeper into his past, he finds that he is charged with trying to bring down the government and also wrecking havoc and death at the Capital. But when he looks even deeper, he finds a truth, a dark truth part of an even darker conspiracy...
