Things seem to be looking up for teenager Paul McCartney in the summer of 1955, up until his mother falls seriously ill. After her death, he writes his feelings in a diary he got for his birthday, not thinking that maybe one day is father would come across it. His secrets lead to his downfall, and now Paul has to learn how to deal with his new life. (A/N- I've only been to Liverpool once so sorry if some of these things are incorrect, however some of the aspects of this story are supposed to be different to what actually happened.)

TRIGGER WARNING: contains homophobic slurs, alcohol abuse and NSFW content. ====================================== "Don't pass me by, don't make me cry, don't make me blue. 'Cause you know, Darling, I love only you." John Lennon has just found himself moving to a rural town shrouded in thick woods and greenery, forced to leave his childhood friends back at home. He has to quickly adapt to new changes, a new school and new people. All in the midst of financial trouble and losing his own Mother. This place is nearly abandoned, except for a few small shops here and there, very sparse. A complete polar opposite from his life in Liverpool. Everyday, John goes down to a little lake, Penny Lake, just as a way to ease his mind. He notices the same ebony-haired boy with his own group of friends visiting the lake, as well. And really, all John wants to do is to, somehow, get that Paul-boy alone so that the two of them can become... closer. This has proven itself to be a difficult challenge as George, Paul's best mate, is inseparable from Paul. Nearly attached at his hip. Not only that, but other problems arise seemingly out of thin air. Will John be able to talk to the boy and find similar interests between them? Or will something deeper unfold right before their eyes? ====================================== - Completed - Ranked #1 in the Mclennon Tag and #1 in Starrison - HELLA Angsty
