The galaxy knew Bossk as a ruthless bounty hunter. Maddy knew him as the father who raised her. Taken in as a child and raised aboard the Hound's tooth, Maddy grew up learning how to track targets, collect bounties, and survive in a galaxy that showed no mercy. A Mandalorian by birth, she wears Beskar armour and carries the skills of her people-but unlike others of her creed, she was taught by one of the most feared hunters in the Outer Rim. To Maddy, survival has always mattered more than tradition. Bossk made sure his adopted daughter became a hunter as dangerous as himself.
Then someone killed him. Maddy is left with nothing but her loyal BD Droid and only friend, Beatie, and a burning need for revenge. Rescued from the wreckage by Din Djarin and Grogu, Maddy quickly discovers that her savior wants nothing to do with her mission, but the only problem is that Maddy refuses to let the hunt go.
Forced together by a trail of clues that stretches across the Outer Rim, the two Mandalorians find themselves constantly at odds. Din follows a creed built on honor and duty. Maddy follows the lessons Bossk taught her: trust no one, strike first, and never forgive your enemies.
What begins as constant arguments, distrust, and clashing ideals slowly becomes something neither of them expected. Resentment slowly gives away to respect, and respect becomes something far more dangerous.
As the hunt grows deadlier and old enemies close in, the truth behind Bossk's death begins to unravel. Maddy must choose between the vengeance she has devoted her life to and the future she never expected to find, because the closer she grows to Din Djarin, the harder it becomes to decide what she's really fighting for. And Din must confront the feelings growing beneath his Beskar armour for the woman he swore he'd never trust.
