Even after being on Earth for some time and being with the Crystal Gems, Lapis still finds it difficult to adjust to Earth and forget her past. Going for a quick fly around the countryside to clear her mind, Lapis accidentally stumbles upon the home of Beach City's forgotten recluse. Long before the great war that happened on earth between the crystal gems and homeworld, an experiment was made to create a new type of gem. This experiment was performed on a planet whose environmental temperature was so high that homeworld could only sent gems with fire resistance to work on the experiment. The experiment was a success, but the awakening of this gem created in such an extreme planet ended up destroying the research center, for which the project to create gems of this type was canceled due to the consumption of energy and resources. But ... what will happen when this gem arrives at the earth?

(Y/N) is a name that has not been spoken in Beach City for sometime after he moved away. When returning, unbeknownst pretty boy (Y/N) is welcomed back by the residence and unaware of all that's happened in his absence. Upon reminiscing his old memories of his time in the city, he doesn't expect to run into a resident crystal gem, Pearl, with daunting memories of her own. Y/N was heading towards beach city to stay with his cousin, steven universe, and his uncle Greg universe, on your way there you see two giant hands, one hand floats near the city and one lands near you in the woods, and you decide to go and check it out. This is a story about a disregarded yellow pearl and the human Y/N, who tries to show her the beauty of the earth. Also, this is my very first story so sorry if its garbage, and there will be some grammar mistakes, but hopefully not often. I don't own Steven universe or the cover art.
