Das Sharingan hatte sich aktiviert und so konnte Hinari endlich mehr erkennen als ihr lieb war. Da sie allerdings noch zu jung war, wurde ihr verboten ihr Sharingan jemals zu zeigen und so musste die kleine Uchiha in der Akademie alles verbergen. Ein Junge allerdings war auf die Uchiha aufmerksam geworden, als er gesehen hatte, dass sie nicht viel sehen konnte. Er fand es bewundernd und fing aus Langeweile an die Uchiha zu beobachten.
