The story starts with Hayley still looking for the cure so she can save the Original Family. It has been 5 years since Klaus had done his sacrifice for his siblings. When Hayley manages to bring them all back she is acting different because of a secret she learned throughout this time that she has been alone. This secret made her rethink everything but what she didn't expect to was that Elijah never told her his big secret. What will Hayley do will she forgive Elijah or will she move on for somebody else and what about Elijah if Hayley leaves him, will he find someone to love again?

So, I have to admit that, after watching every single episode of The Originals, I still can't bring myself to stick to only one freaking ship,and that's due to everyone having chemistry with everyone. (the only ones that, in my opinion, have no chemistry are Hayley with Jackson). But, even though I don't despise any of the other ships, I've found myself a bit more intrigued by Klaus and Hayley. It's just that, in my eyes, their chemistry is a little bit more intense and raw, and if you think about it,Hayley is the only female character that is so independant and strong and has got the guts to fully stand up to Klaus and his commands. And after all, their connection deepens even more because of Hope, even though they clearly don't like to admit it. So yeah, sorry for the ranting, but I just wanted to explain the reasons why I decided to write a Klayley fanfiction. My story is set right after the season two finale (2x22). It's going to be a multi-chapteral story. Enjoy ;)
