I watched as Sonic stared blankly at the photo on his nightstand. Taking a glance at it, I observed the two figures in the frame. One was a small child, who I assumed was Sonic at a younger age, and a taller hedgehog with silky purple quills and bright blue eyes. "Faker." I said. "Hm?" "Is that your mother?" I asked, watching as his ears flicked swiftly. His eyes softened and almost seemed to be laced in sadness. "Yeah." He whispered, his eyes beginning to glaze over unconsciously. I decided not to mention it, not wanting to cause any issues. "She's pretty." I said, casting him a glance. "You have her face." I watched as Sonic's eyes lit up slightly as he met my gaze. "You think so?" He asked, genuine happiness evident in his tone. I nodded slowly with half lidded eyes. It felt nice to see him smile. But just as quickly as the thought came, I felt sadness stab me straight in the chest. This was I the first time I had actually seen him happy.

This story is based off Sonic Unleashed and an idea that SonicAnon gave me. Sonic and Shadow have been dating and have been trying to have a baby for a while. So when the world starts breaking apart and Dark Gaia is rising from the depths of the earth, Sonic finally gets pregnant with triplets. Bad idea. The Light Gaia, Chip, who has lost all his memory, joins Sonic and Shadow in saving the planet, but with Sonic's due date approaching quickly, Shadow starts being overprotective of Sonic and the unborn triplets, and could cost them the world.

Amy Rose loves Sonic. Everyone knows that. Though, there is an ebony hedgehog who also, secretly, loves Sonic. One day, Amy begs Shadow to help her date Sonic. Reluctantly, he agrees to help Amy with her plan to win Sonic. But he has a plan to make the azure hedgehog fall in love with him instead. Who will win Sonics love? Shadow or Amy Rose? Will the others approve of their love? Find out in Tough Love. This was originally going to be a one-shot, but I decided last minute to make it into a short book.

G.U.N. sends Shadow on a mission to manipulate Sonic into falling in love with him in hopes that he could convince Sonic to work for them. But when their plan doesn't work out, they decide to take things to extreme measures. Shadow, on the other hand, is finding it hard to believe if he actually does love his rival, Sonic, or if it was just another mission gone wrong.
