After a devastating turn of events back home, 26 year old Adrienne is pushed to move from the comforts of her hometown in Southern Texas, to the bustling city of Chicago. Being faced with the overwhelming pressure to fit into the lively streets of her new home, Adrienne stumbles upon the biggest underground dance group in all of Chicago, where she finds herself tangled within the community that she had once sworn to stay away from after experiencing a tragedy back home. However, things never go according to plan, and Adrienne soon enters a new inevitable journey of self discovery all while trying to escape the monsters of her past and enduring the smug arrogance of Chi-Town's most renowned underground dance leader, Jay.
