At the behest the leader, young Ruby experiences pain and suffering of a massive magnitude, constantly having her memory wiped throughout the years, even after being set upon the world as the world's most wanted assassin. After a botched job, she is caught up by a man that everyone knows and offers her a place in Beacon Academy: a prestigious school that trains some of the fiercest Hunters and Huntresses. Distrust and anger wage a war inside Ruby as she relearns the ways of friendship and maybe even love.
