CHAPTERS 1-11 REWRITTEN ON 22/12/2024 Akito and Toya were close, once. Toya's father doesn't believe his son when he says he's gay. Toya needs concrete proof, someone to back him up, who isn't just a friend. "Date me." "What?" "For three months, be my boyfriend." The supposedly inseparable have been separated since middle school. And now, Akito has to forge their relationship back together with tape and glue in order to fool his old friend's father. Toya kept a promise to himself: That he would never fall for Akito again; but just how long will he be able to keep his facade up? At a young age, he was forced into take lessons for the piano and violin, just like his two older brothers. He never complained, however. He though his father taught him like that so he could be successful in life, and not end up like 'nobody' as he calls others. Even with that, he didn't feel like anybody. He was isolated from friends, family, everyone. So his stress and anxiety was building up to the point he just.. stopped talking. Because of his homeschool keeping him from growing up like other children, he couldn't even talk to Tsukasa or Saki after the age of 7. Later on, his therapist had recommended going to a private school at least. So, he met Akito. The two have their own internal problems, but despite this, whenever they're together they feel so much happiness. An comes into the story and at least tries to help Toya make connections. It's Toya's first year of high school starting off at a new school, there he meets a boy that he quickly bonds with and reunites with old childhood friends. As time goes on Toya grows feelings for this friend and can't get rid of them, so he believes that he has no other choice but to confess.
