COMPLETED - Ezra Miller is the charming ice hockey goalie of every girl's dreams, Sophia Olson a prima ballerina with a feisty mouth and the most flirty spirit. It's no surprise that when these two meet at a bar, sparks fly. It's a simple agreement: Only once giving in to the temptation and then they'd go back to being perfect strangers... But life was never simple for the both of them, so why would this be any different. He's the arrogant nightmare she wishes to forget, and she's the girl that makes him break too many promises. They are forced to face each other, their heartbreaking past and life-changing secrets, but once they cross the line and give in to what they truly need, there's no way back. Two different people, who have more in common than they ever thought. Call it a coincidence, or bad luck, but we all know it's much more than that. 🦋 Once is a Charm is a spin-off from my second book Moondust. It can be read as a complete stand-alone. You don't have to have read Moondust to get this one. However, if you have started Moondust haven't read the last chapter yet I recommend to do so because you're gonna be confused because of a plot twist near the end of the book that changed everything. The story starts a month or two after the end in Moondust.

There's a reason they say never meet your heroes. *** Ivy Bennett is just trying to get over her crush on her off-limits guy best friend when she is forced into superstar Kade Hendrix's world of managers, publicists, stylists, Non-Disclosure Agreements and intrusive paparazzi--all because he decided to steal the songwriting credits to what is proving to be his biggest hit of all time. Coaxed into a flimsy alliance where she takes a job as his primary co-writer, Ivy and Kade are caught up in a whirlwind of emotions--most of them hate--but somewhere along the way, romantic lines are blurred and Ivy isn't too sure that crush she had on Kade ever really went away. Will Ivy forgive and forget the terrible behavior of the one person who was her inspiration for writing in the first place, or have the bridges already been burned? Follow Ivy and Kade on their journey from strangers to enemies to something neither of them can put into words in his world of extremes in the spotlight.

Brie Thompson has played ice hockey her entire life, and she doesn't intend to stop when she starts college. Not even when she finds out that her new school's only team is for "males exclusively". Brie has dealt with hockey douchebags her entire life, so it's nothing new when the team captain claims that they can't have a girl on the team. And it's certainly not going to stop her from playing, either. But if the captain won't back down without a fight, then game on. There's only one problem: Brie's heart seems to be determined to play a different game with the captain. Falling for him in the process was certainly not part of the plan. ✍︎︎ *plenty of dialogue and very little descriptions/world building in the first few chapters* (because I think world building is boring and just want to get to the plot, lol). Also, this is Wattpad and therefore not award-winning writing. So if you're picky about that, go read a published book that has been proofread several times by plenty of people instead of reading and then complaining about this one.
