I was seventeen. . . Seventeen, when I met Atulya Singh. Nineteen, when I became his close mate. Twenty when I was friend-zoned. Twenty-three when he decided to join the same hospital as I. Twenty-four when he decided to date the one girl that I wasn't fond of. Twenty-five, when he told me that he might be falling in love. Twenty-six, when he came with a broken heart. Now, I'm twenty-seven, telling him to fuck off. I was eighteen. . . Eighteen, when she caught my eye. Nineteen, when destiny brought us together. Twenty-one, when I realised my feelings for her. Twenty-four, when I decided to follow her. Twenty-five, when I didn't want to risk anything. Twenty-seven, when she announced her engagement. Now, at twenty-eight, she's telling me to fuck off.

His jaw was clenched as he raked his eyes at the woman standing before him. The woman started walking towards him, while he controlled himself from something that he would regret later. Her lips tilted upwards when looked into his eyes. Her eyes raked him as she licked her lips, holding her lower lip between her teeth. "You have no idea of what I could be?" She stopped her gaze at his crotch. "Or what I could be doing." A sly smile started playing on her face knowing the power she has over him. "That alone excites me." She turned around and left the room and the man who turned her world upside down.

Vrishali was popularly known as the life of the party. She had a natural ability to make friends with anyone she met. Everyone adored her, and she had yet to find her perfect match amidst all the chaos of her college parties. However, she was not interested in dating anyone at the moment. She was content with being single and wanted to enjoy her college life to the fullest without any commitments holding her back. She always had this belief in the timeline in her mind. 'Meeting. . . Knowing. . . Dating. . . Live-in. . . Marriage. . .' Marriage has always been somewhere in the back of her head. She didn't believe in the concept of love at first sight or the prospect of marrying someone she hadn't lived with. She is fully committed to enjoying her college life to the fullest. However, when her grandparents invite her parents to spend the summer holidays with them in India, she reluctantly agrees to go along. To her delight, she discovers that she will have the opportunity to meet one of the country's royal families during her trip. But that's not all stored for her. When things take a 360°, she couldn't do anything except listen. Until it crashed all her beliefs in one go, they said love doesn't need to come first, then marriage. It can be the other way: first comes marriage, then comes love, filling you like slow happiness in a desert of sadness. "We meet for a reason― to fill the empty parts, to make it a little over the top, to try the filmy drama in a drama called life."
